Session III: RNA Technologies
Mime-seq 2.0: Cell-specific sequencing of microRNAs from mammalian tissues and organs
June 26, 2025 | 4:45 – 4:55 PM | ASC2.2102 Auditorium and Online
Ariane Mandlbauer
XDBio PhD Student, Johns Hopkins University
Ariane (she/her) holds a Master of Science in Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Vienna in Austria. During her studies, she gained practical experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies at the VBC. Ariane joined Luisa Cochella’s laboratory at the IMP (Vienna, Austria) for her doctoral studies. In 2021, she relocated with the laboratory to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA. Her current research focuses on the functions of microRNAs in maintaining cellular homeostasis within mammalian cells and elucidating their mechanisms of action.
