Detail-oriented cell biologist/ biochemist with 15 years experience in an academic setting. Well versed in characterization of transcriptional and translational regulation in a variety of systems including metabolic tissues and cancer using in vitro assays, cell culture, and animal models with a track record of successful publications. Jon's recent work has included assay development and testing of novel compounds (PROTACs, stapled peptides, and small molecules) targeting cancer vulnerabilities in cell-based assay systems as well as protein engineering of novel regulatory domains.
